About Charlotte Wellings.
Charlotte Wellings is a Manchester based music photographer. Her work has been published in magazines and newspapers, including the Guardian, Manchester Evening News, Rhythm magazine, the 405, Gigwise, Louder Than War & Flick of the Finger. and covered various festivals. She has worked as the resident photographer for various venues including Manchester’s Albert Hall, Gorilla, Deaf Institute, Bunny Jackson's Juke Joint and Moho Live. Charlotte regularly shoots for bands and her live music photography includes notable names such as Joe Satriani, Noel Gallagher, The Charlatans, the Slaves, The Specials, The Selecter, Steve Hackett (Genesis) and many more. Her position at her former employer (end April 2018) was Marketing Manager and Head of Digital Media and Photography for British Drum Co.
Her creative education started by studying Art and Design at the Cheshire School of Art and progressed onto a degree in Photo-Journalism at the University of Central Lancashire. This has given her invaluable knowledge and skills in Photography, Journalism, Fine Art, Graphic Design, Textiles and Art History.
