About Charlotte Wellings.

Charlotte Wellings is a Manchester based music photographer. Her work has been published in magazines, newspapers and blogs, including the Guardian, Manchester Evening News, the 405, Gigwise, Louder Than War & Flick of the Finger. She has worked as the resident photographer for various venues including Manchester’s Albert Hall, Gorilla, Deaf Institute and Moho Live. Charlotte regularly shoots for bands and her live music photography includes notable names such as The Charlatans, Joe Satriani, Slaves, Echosmith, RIDE, The Maccabees, Rodrigo Y Gabriela, The Subways, The Specials, The Selecter, Steve Hackett (Genesis) and many more.

Her creative education started by studying Art and Design at the Cheshire School of Art and progressed onto a degree in Photo-Journalism at the University of Central Lancashire. This has given her invaluable knowledge and skills in Photography, Journalism, Fine Art, Graphic Design, Textiles and Art History.
